1995 February
DNA Diagnostics Center (DDC) opens to the public.
1996 May
DNA Diagnostics Center becomes accredited by the AABB.
1996 December
DDC offers DNA testing for immigration. Since then, DDC has grown its International Testing division and now works with clients, embassies and consulates in over 168 countries worldwide. DDC employs several bilingual personnel to assist in these cases.
1998 October
DNA Diagnostics Center becomes the exclusive provider of DNA testing for Maury. Since then, DDC has provided DNA testing for over 5,000 hours of TV and radio programming.
2000 September
DDC receives its first perfect (zero-deficiency) laboratory inspection rating from the AABB. DDC has received 14 perfect lab inspection ratings to date.
2003 January
DNA Diagnostics Center buys neighboring property and expands building, breaks ground on DNA Technology Park.
2003 June
DDC adds veterinary DNA testing services to its offering. We now offer canine, feline and equine DNA testing services.
2003 November
Columbia County, Penn., awards DDC its first government contract for the county's child support DNA testing needs.
2004 March
DDC adds forensic DNA testing services to its offering, after spending over a year installing cutting-edge and government-approved DNA technologies in the laboratory.
2004 December
DNA Technology Park is completed, encompassing 16 acres.
2005 February
DNA Diagnostics Center redesigns its logo and brand image, and introduces DDC as an acceptable reference to the company.
2006 May
DDC opens its European Headquarters in London, England.
2007 April
DDC announces the results of the Anna Nicole Smith paternity case in Bahamian court, in front of news reporters from around the globe.
2008 January
The AABB Board of Directors appoints DDC's Laboratory Director, Dr. Michael Baird, to serve as Chair of the Relationship Testing Standards Program Unit.
2008 October
DDC is acquired by MTS Health Investors, a healthcare private equity firm based in New York.
